SITEKI – The Siteki Town Council has officially unveiled its new brand identity under the theme “Endless Opportunities,” redefining the mountain-top town as “A Mountain-Top of Endless Possibilities.”
The launch, held on 21 October 2025 at the Siteki Municipal Hall, marks a historic shift from the town’s long-standing identity as “A Place of Marriage” to a modern, smart, and investor-ready municipality aligned with Eswatini’s national vision for sustainable urban growth.
A New Era of Growth and Innovation
The rebrand forms part of Siteki’s broader transformation strategy to strengthen digital service delivery, environmental stewardship, and community engagement. It is anchored in a 90-Day Momentum Plan, designed to translate vision into action through consistent digital updates, community campaigns, and investor outreach initiatives.
Speaking at the event, the Principal Secretary in the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development, Dr. Simon Zwane, praised the Council for its forward-looking approach.
“This rebranding is not merely about a new logo or identity; it represents a renewed vision and strengthened commitment to innovation and inclusivity,” he said.
“When Siteki prospers, the region prospers and when the region prospers, Eswatini prospers.”
Dr. Zwane applauded the integration of digital systems such as customer feedback portals, online permit applications, and digital facility booking forms all aimed at improving transparency and accessibility. He also recognized the Council’s collaboration with the School for the Deaf as a model of inclusive development.
Voices of Leadership
The Regional Administrator, Mr. Themba Msibi, praised the rebrand as “timely and transformative,” urging investors to explore the town’s emerging potential.
“Other cities have developed already; now it is time for Siteki,” he said. “This town has potential for people to come, invest, and build factories so that employment grows.”
Mayor of Siteki, Mr. Bongisipho Dlamini, affirmed the Council’s collective vision for progress.
“This rebrand is a statement of who we are and where we are going,” he said.
“Together, we are building a stronger, smarter, and more vibrant Siteki, a town of endless possibilities.”
What the New Identity Represents
Siteki Town Council CEO, Ms. Sithembile Simelane, described the rebrand as a catalyst for implementing the Integrated Development Plan (IDP):
“Our new logo tells a story of hope, progress, and resilience. The rising sun represents new beginnings, while the mountain reflects strength and pride. This identity embodies our goal to make Siteki a smarter, greener, and more connected town.”
